We would rather be quoted accurately than generously:
- ThumaPay is a planned wallet. It is not a licensed deposit-taker and we do not describe it as a bank. Its own pages say "planned" and "indicative" for exactly this reason.
- ThumaShield is cover we pay for, not insurance we underwrite. We are not an insurer and do not hold an insurance licence.
- We publish no user, driver or delivery numbers until they are numbers we can stand behind. If a figure reaches you attributed to us and it is not on this site, please check it with us first.
- There is no founding story beyond the filing date above. 23 July 2026 is when the holding company was incorporated. Anything more romantic than that did not come from us.
